This Privacy Policy explains how Quantus Insights collects, uses, discloses, and protects information about you when you visit quantusinsights.org, interact with our content, or communicate with us. If you do not agree with this Policy, do not use the Site.

We collect information in three main ways:

• Contact information such as your name, email address, and any message you send when you use our contact forms or email us.
• Professional information if you inquire about services, such as organization, role, and project details you choose to share.
• Survey and research information if you choose to participate in polls or surveys that we administer. This may include demographic information and opinion data. We publish results in aggregate or de identified form. Where a survey is conducted on behalf of a client or by a third party platform, additional disclosures may apply.

• Log and device information such as IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URLs, pages viewed, and timestamps.
• Cookies and similar technologies that help us understand how the Site is used and to improve performance and security. You can control cookies through your browser settings and through the choices we present on the Site, subject to essential cookies that are needed to operate the Site.

• Analytics, security, and anti abuse providers that help us protect the Site and measure traffic.
• Publicly available sources and social media platforms when you interact with our pages or content.

We use information to:

• provide, operate, and improve the Site and our services;
• respond to your inquiries and provide customer support;
• analyze Site performance and usage trends, including to develop and validate polling and forecast models;
• maintain the security and integrity of the Site, including fraud prevention and spam reduction;
• comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.

We use cookies and similar technologies for analytics, performance, and security. You can manage non essential cookies through the cookie notice on the Site or through your browser settings. If you disable cookies, some features may not function properly.

We do not sell or share personal information for cross context behavioral advertising. If this changes, we will update this Policy and provide a method to opt out.

We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the Site and our services, to comply with legal obligations, to resolve disputes, and to enforce agreements. We aim to delete or de identify contact form submissions and routine correspondence after 24 months of inactivity, unless we need to keep them longer for legal or operational reasons. Aggregated analytics data may be retained for longer.

You may opt out of non transactional emails by following any unsubscribe instructions in those messages or by contacting us.

Use the cookie controls presented on the Site or your browser settings to manage non essential cookies.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, deletion of, or correction of your personal information, and to limit the use of sensitive personal information. You can submit a request by emailing privacy@quantusinsights.org or contact@quantusinsights.org with "Privacy Request" in the subject line. We will verify your request using information we already hold about you. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request, subject to verification.

If you are located in the EEA or the UK, and the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, you have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to processing, and data portability. Our legal bases for processing include consent, contract, legitimate interests, compliance with legal obligations, and, where applicable, public interest research. You may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

We may transfer information to the United States and other countries where we or our service providers operate. Those countries may have different data protection laws. We take steps to protect information during transfer in accordance with applicable law, including use of Standard Contractual Clauses when required.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

The Site is not directed to children under 13 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

We may update this Policy from time to time. The Effective date above shows the most recent update. Your continued use of the Site after changes take effect means you accept the updated Policy.

California Notice at Collection

We collect the categories of personal information described in Section 1 for the purposes described in Section 2. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law. You can submit requests under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA by emailing privacy@quantusinsights.org or contact@quantusinsights.org. Providing personal information is voluntary, but we may be unable to respond to inquiries without it.

Data Processing Addendum for Clients

If Quantus Insights processes personal data on behalf of a client as a processor or service provider, the parties agree to enter into a separate data processing agreement that includes required terms under applicable data protection laws, including the CCPA as amended by the CPRA, the GDPR, and the UK GDPR. This Privacy Policy applies to our role as a business or controller for the Site.
